WAIRARAPA'S CONTRIBUTIONS. — __ * Speaking to n reporter to-day Mr. J. Lewis said he \\ ibhecl to correct a misapprehension which had gained currency to the effect that _ all the funds eubccribed in the Wairarapa district were to bo devoted to the ■candidature of the Trentham nominee, Miss Doris M'Cormack. The Wairarapa executive, lie said, had decided to retain the money subscribed j' until such time as its trustees wire appointed to the Provin* cial Committee. ,
