VICTORIA CLUB. The eighteenth annual meeting of the Victoria Bowling Club ivae hold List night, Mr. G. Snaddon (president) being in the- chair. Tho directors of tho Ne-wtown Bowling Club, in their annual report, state that in consequence of tho abolition of tho midweek haJf-holiday, there will be more players to be provided with a game on Saturday afternoons. .As the green is usually full on that day, the question of reducing the^ maximum membership and increasing the subscription will be brought forward for discussion at the annual meeting. The financial year closed with a slightly smaller balance than was available at the beginning.
