RED CROSS FUNDS
MR. S. HORDERN'S GIFT. SYDNEY, 22nd June. Mr. Samuel Hordern has given £1000 to the Australia Day Fund, conditionally that the money goes to the Red Cross. If all the money collected goes to the Red Cross, Mr. Hordern gives a further £1000. Mr. Holman stated that the Red Cross handles the whole of the collected moneys.
