•PEOPLE MUST CONSUME LESS. LONDON, 22nd June. Investigations have revealed that during the war Britain must be largely selfsupporting in regard to meat for civilian consumption. Householders will have to be satisfied with three-fifths of the normal quantity which they have been in 5 the habit of consuming.
