SUBMARINE CAMPAIGN
LINER ATTACKED. MANY AMERICANS ON BOARD. (Received June 23, 10 a.m.) LONDON, 22nd June. A submarine pursued the liner Cameronia. The latter, being unable to escape,' attempted to ram the submarine, which submerged and retreated. The Cameronia was bound to Liverpool, with many American passengers. The attack was reported to the American Embassy.
