A. YATES AND CO., LTD., AUCKLAND.
Anker*Holth Separators and Gardening Implements, and Spray Pumps. This well-known firm is showing for the first time in Palmerston North a new and exceedingly simple self-balanc-ing cream separator, the Anker-Holth, and we specially direct the attention of dairy farmers and others thereto. There are seventeen reasons why this new separator should find favour with the farmer, as follows : — The bowl is. absolutely sell ttflaucing. All b.earincfi arc
solf oiling, and require no attention. It ifcis an open dirt chamber to catch all impurities. It has a durable self oiling flexible bearing. No milk can got into the bearings. The discs do not nave to be put in numerical order. Ono^ can leave a run half done, return whenever convenient, and begin whore left off without cleaning tho bowl. It is' easiest to clean. A child can run it. It is easier to assemble than any other separator. All parts of the bowl are interchangeable. You do not have to send the bowl to the factory to be re-balanced. The machine will skim from 5 to 6001b5., or 250 quarts, of milk per hour. It contains a less number of parts than any other. It can skim colder milk than any other. The cone-shaped discs point down, and give • a perfect drainage of the < cream into the . cream can, not draining the cream off into the skimmed milk when standing, or finishing up ' the run, as some other separators do. In addition to the above Messrs. Yates and Co. display a collection of spray pumps, Iron Age horse hoes and cultivators, also Iron Age seed drills and garden cultivators. Taken generally this firm's exhibit is certainly one of the most attractive in the hall, , and we specially recommend all visitors to call and inspect. It is situated in the main hall, and its general appearance reflects the greatest credit on the firm's staff in attendance. Messrs. H. S. Porteous and Co., merchants, The Square, Palmerston North', are the firm's agents for the separators.
