GARRISON SETTLED DOWN TO WORK. (IT TBIEfiIUrH— PRESS ASSOCIATION.) AUCKLAND, 21st June. Passengers from Samoa by tho Atua. include Captain Roache, of the sth (Wellington) Regiment, two nurses, and nine non-commissioned officers and men of the Samoan garrison. _ _ Matron Bvoofeo and Sister Willis aro joining the hospital ship Mahono. Captain Roacho is recovering from typhoid, and Privates E. Foloy, W. J. Barker, J. Davidson, H. J. Roberts, and E D. Elcod havo been invalided home. Staff-Sergeant Hale, Quartormaa-ter-Sergeant Dyer, Field-Cashier D. Moronoy, and Private Whitford have been transferred to duty at Wellington. Tho garrison at Samoa appears to have settled down to work.
