BRICKLAYERS' DISPUTE
♦ Matters affecting the bricklayers' dispute were resolved upon by the City Council last night, on the advice of the City Engineer, as follow : — "The matter of wages should be left to the Arbitration Court to determine. Matters' particularly affecting the Corporation, such as suburban work and provision of commencing, have been settled between the union and the City Engineer, and application has been made to tho Court for special provision to settle the requirements of the Corporation in this matter. ' '
