"EARL OF LIVERPOOL'S OWN"
His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to approve of the two new battalions of the Expeditionary Force being called "The Trentham Regiment" (The Earl of Liverpool's Own), and His Excellency has accepted the rank of honorary colonel of the regiment.
