MANAWATU HUNT CLUB
HUTT BRANCH ANNUAL iMEETING. The annual meeting of the Manawatvi Hunt Club (Hutt branch) wa« held ab Lower Hutt last evening, Mr. S. Campbell being in the chair. It was slated in the annual report of the committee that the 1914 season had been very successful, both as regards runs and finances. Special reference wa« made to the fact that the ranks of the club were depleted as a result of the war, and the best wishes and heartiest congratulations were extended to those who had so nobly answered the call to arms. The election of officers i-esulted as follows : — Vice-presidents. Messrs. J. o'Meara and C. F. Wallace; deputy, master, Major A. M. Samuel; whip. Mr P. Lambert ; treasurer, Mr S. Campbell; secretary. Mr- E. Evison ; committee, Messrs. Dick, Hunter, Walsh, Man- ] ning, and Mackie; hon. surgeon, pr. Mirams ; hon. veterinary euigeon, Mr. F. Crossley. ■Thirteen aew members .were elected. t
