MAYOR'S (NEW) BELGIAN FUND
The Mayor desires to acknowledge the receipt of a further monthly instalment of £5 0s 6d from Mr. Norman Kirkcaldie, Levin,.towards the fund for the purchase of vegetables, etc., at the Trentham Camp. The sum of £10 for the Belgian Relief Fund was collected on board the steamer Manuka this week, being the proceeds of an enjoyable entertainment. Among those who contributed were "The Violets." Mr. J\ Craigie, M.P., presided.
