THE NEW ZEALAND PATRIOTIC SOCIETY fully realises that to make the Carnival Queen Election an assured success it will be necessary to have the support of the whole of the Wellington Province. This they feel sure will be forthcoming when the Residents throughout the Province recognise how the funds are to bo utilised. If those bodies invited give the Society the support asked for, the Society's Organiser will immediately wait upoji the respective committees and address and place before them all necessary information for the successful running of the CARNIVAL QUEEN ELECTION. Tho Society hopes that the ladies who will be approached to allow themselves to be nominated WILL READILY CONSENT. Besides helping to allow the election to commence immediately, it surely will be.an_ honour for any lady to be nominated for so great a cause, i.e., that of establishing a Base Hospital at Trentham Encampment, and td provide a fund for the assistance of our New Zealand Soldiers and Sailors who are incapacitated while on active service, and for the support of the dependents of those who have sacrificed their lives in defence of the Empire.
