(IT IBLKGRAPH— PRSSS ASSOCIATION.) CHRISTCHURCH, 4th May. The wheat market is still lifeless. There appears to be no demand, and little or nothing' offering. The weakening of the oats market in Southland has been reflected locally, and there is practically no business doing. The ! from the ' North Island has cased off, and this has tended to weaken tho market. Oatsheaf chaff is firm, and prime samples command £6 to £6 2s 6d.
