MUNICIPAL PAVILION DESTROYED
" DUNEDIN, This Day. The City Council's pavilion at St. Clair, built about three years ago, was completely destroyed by fire at 3 a.m. to«day. The total insurances amount to £3320. This means a heavy loss to the corporation. A Belgiau carnival had been held there, and was concluded last night. PATEA HARBOUR HAWERA, This Day. The Patea Harbour Board accepted the tender of C. F. Pulley, at £77,467, for extending the eastern breakwater 500 feet and the western 348 feet, and raising and repairing the existing western breakwater.
