ENDURANCE OF THE ENEMY
WILL MAKE FOR A LONG WAR. (TIMES AND SIDNKT SUN SERVICES.) LONDON, 3rd May. The Times military correspondent states that the end of the war is not clear except by means of clow exhaustion of one side or the other. "The exhaustion of Austro-Germaoy and Turkey, with 136 millions population, and immense resources, must ne* cessarily be a long process. "It is practically impossible to fix the limits of the enemy's endurance. Therefore, it is exceedingly probable that we are in for a long war."
