They were over-ripe, and many wet and wasty, and sold at 4s to 6s: Tasmanian Cleopatras at 8s 3d to 10s 6d; Cox's 9s 6d to 14s j Jonathans 7s 3d to 10s 6dj other sorts 5s 3d to 8s 6d; West Australian Jonathans 9b to 10s; Cleopatra* 10s to 11s. METAL MARKET. (Received May 4, 12.30 p.m.) LONDON, 3rd May. Copper.—On the spot, £76 7« 6d to £76 12s 6d; throe months, £77 17s 6d to £78 2s 6d; electrolytio, £86 10s to £87 10s. Supplies, 34,242 tonsj deliveries, 31,811 tons; in stook, 18,639 tons; afloat, 5400 tons; visible, 31,487 tons. Tin.—On the spot, £162 10s to £163; three months, £164 5s to £164 15s.' In stook, 17,949 tons; on the_ spot, 3528 tons; afloat, 2315 tons; deliveries, 2348 tons. Lead.—Soft foreign, £20 15s to £21 10s. Spelter—£67, £65. Silver.—Bar silver is quoted at 23Jd per ounce standard.
