SHELLS THAT EMIT POISONOUS GASES
GERMAN REPLY TO FRANCE AND BRITAIN. (Received April 26, 2.30 p.m.) . BERLIN, 25th April. The journal Frankfurter Zcitung, rejoicing over the German successes at STpres, states: — "It is probable that we employed projectiles emitting poisonous gases. This was a reply to the treacherous British and French projectiles tho German army had had to contend with already. It waa stated that German chemists would produce considerably more effective gas bomba than those of the enemy."
