PATROLLING SUEZ CANAL
LITTLE ACTIVITY BY THE ENEMY. The High Commissioner reports:— 1 .' LONDON, 20fch Mar., 11.20 a.m. Cairo reports that patrol and aeroplane reconnaissances show that there is little activity of the enemy's outposts, which remain four days' march from the Canal. Work on the railway at Lydda is continued slowly. Locusts did great damage to the crops in Southern Palestine. (Received March 22, 9.10 a.m.) _ ' CAIRO, 21st March. Ofiicial : Aeroplane reconnaissances show that there is little activity by the Turkish outposts, which are four days' march from the Canal. Locusts are causing great damage to the crops in Southern Palestine.
