ORONGORONGO SCHEME
It is proposed that the trip of the Mayor (Mr. J. P. Luke), City Engineer (Mr. W. H. Morton), and councillors to the Orongorongo ranges, to inspect the site of the tunnel to be pierced through the hills, be made on Friday next. The trip was postponed from last Friday on account of the bad weather. Some steep climbing will be necessary, and the journey on foot cadi way will probably Uku four or five hours.
