♦ SATURDAY'S GAMES. Rain fell heavily .during part of Saturday afternoon, and interfered considerably with the play; in fact, several interclub matches were abandoned. Following results are to hand :—: — THOKNDON CLUB. In the final for the club rink match the scores were :—: — ' Staff, Johnson, Conlin, Parata (skip), 20 ; ' Arden, Gamble, Hatch, Barraud (skip), 14. Parata's rink will represent Thorndon on Wednesday next at Wellington green in the champion rink contest. On Wednesday the following players will represent Thorndon" in a friendly match against Karori, at Karori :—: — Arden, Dumbell, Longton, Hatch (skip) ; Jay, Medland, Nimmo, Brandon (skip) ; Freeman, Stanford, .Gamble, Dimock (skip). VICTORIA v. NEWTOWN. j The following will represent Victoria in a friendly game against Newtown on Wednesday next : — At home : Thomson, Tucker, Hobday, Townsend (skip); Madeley, Bolton, Hatch, Chapman (skip). Away : Betty, Martin, Langdon, Snaddon (skip) ; Thawley, Houldsworth, Avery, Godber (skip). s WELLINGTON CLUB. The team chosen by the Selection Committee to play in the Champion of Champions Tournament is : W. J. Thompson, Frost, Magnus, Porteous. PRESIDENT'S CUP. • In the match for the President's Cup between Lower Hutt and Petone Clubs on the Hutt green the scores were: — Hutt— J. M. Dawson, Treadwell, Nicholson, Hill (skip), 19; Petone — M'Ewen, Firth, J. M'Arthur, Melhuish (skip), 13. Hutt— Jones, T. C. Dawson, Holland, Trevethick (skip), 18; Petone— Allan, Wylie, Fraser, Wearhe (skip), 16. Hutt — Palmer, Seymour, Macaskill, Pole (skip), 14; Petone — Cowie, Castle, j Coles, Stephens (skip), 27. • ' Hutt — Norris, Judd, Hendry, Hodgins (skip), 23; Petone— P. M'Arthur, Doneghue, Fowler, Beynon (skip) 15. Total— Hutt, 74; Petone, 21. LOWER v. UPPER HUTT. A friendly game between Lower Hutt and Upper Hutt, on the latter's green, resulted as under: — Lower Hutt — Kerr, Thompson, Young, Hogarth (skip), 18; Upper Hutt—Schofield, Browne, Robertson, Benge (skip), 22. Lower Hutt — Rishworth, Russell, Parker, Barlow (skip), 32 ; Upper Hutt's second rink, of which Webb was skip, 12. Total— Lower Hutt, 50; Upper Eutt, 34. LOWER HUTT CLUB. The final for the Hutt Club's singles championship was played between J. M. Dawson and Macaskill.
