CONSOLIDATED GROUP, The returns from the Consolidated Group of Mines, Reef ton, for February are as follow :—: — Progress : Crushed 3600 tons, yielding £5120, cyanided 2300 tons, value £185 ; sulphurets, estimated value £666. Costs per ton, mining 14s 6d, milling 3s Id, general and bullion charges 2s Id. Blackwater : Milled 4580 tons, yielding £7215, cyanided 2572 tons, value £911, sulphurets £664. Cost* per ton, mining 14s 3d, milling 2s lid, general and bullion charges 2s 9d. Wealth of Nations : Crushed 2000 tone, yielding £2198, cjanided 1286 tons, value .U709, sulphurets i £103. . Costs per ton, mining 12s, milling 3s 6d, general and bullion charges 2s 7d. MURRAY CREEK COMPANY. The mine manager of the Murray Creek Gold Mmmg Company, Ltd., reports for' the month of February as follows: — "The chamber and sump have been completed. Driving north in the intermediate level the reef has been extended 24ft, reef 6ft wide, driving south 26ft, reef 2ft 6in. In No. 3 level the crosscut has been extended 58ft. The battery return is 1570z 16dwt melted gold, and 270z 7dwt bullion trdm cyanide tats, total number of tons cr\i&h» ed 179, estimated value £730."
