FUTURE OF HUTT PARK
♦ The Hutfc Park Committee will meet at Lower Hutt on Thursday next, to appoint a chairman vice Mr. Baldwin, who has resigned from the committee. Further consideration will also bo given to the Hutt Valley Trotting Club's application for a lease of the park for trotting purposes.
It ie stated by the Nelson Evening Mail of Saturday that Mr. Justice Edwards, who presided at the Supreme Court sittings in Nelson, is suffering from a chill, and is under treatment at a private hospital. Cabled advice has been received in Wellington of the death at Boston, U.S.A., of Mrs. Warden Clarke, wife of Commander Edgar Warden Clarke, R.N. Mrs. Warden Clarke was on her way to New Zealand to visit her son, Mr. R. P. Clarke, who has been on the staff of the National Bank in Wellington for tome tim« ua«U
