PROHIBITION OF EXPORT OF LEATHER
MODIFICATION SOUGHT. SYDNEY, sth March. The New South Wales Tanners' Association is urging the Federal Government to modify the drastic measures regarding the prohibition of leather export to Africa, New Zealand, and the East, pointing out that half the tanners of New South Wales will be compelled to close owing to the congestion of leather ■which they are unable to ship.
