OFFICIAL REPORTS. MANY ATTACKS REPULSED. The Premier has received the following from the High Commissioner: — LONDON, 16th February, 5.30 a.m. "Petrograd reports further actions on the Niemen-Vistula front. "In the Carpathians the Russians repulsed persistent Austrian attacks southwest of the Dukla Pass, and slightly progressed on the left bank of the Upper San. capturing one thousand prisoners. "A German attack between the Beslrid and Wyschkoff Passes was repulsed with great losses to the enemy, who w<?re dislodged from a fortified position. "Considerable Austrian forces are advancing at Nadworna and in Bukowina." PETROGRAD, 16th February. Official: "We progressed/on the Upper San, capturing one thousand Austrians and five machine guns. "The Germans have been repulsed on the heights between the Beskid and Wyschkoff Passes with great losses. "They have been also dislodged from portion of the fortified heights between Tuchla (north-west of Vereszke Pass, 20 miles east of the same pass) and Wyschkoff."
