The official statement is not yet forthcoming legal ding tho embaigo on American wool-buying, and the result of their refiaining from bidding at to-day's sales was that merinos were irregular; in many instances high-ctass lots dropped fiom 5 to 7^ per cent., though one parcel touched 15Jd. In other classes there was little change. Crossbreds were firmer.
