PEGOUD'S GREAT FEAT

EXPLOSIVES DEPOT BLOWN UP. LONDON, 31st January. M. Pegoud, while reconnoitring at Artois, discovered an important depot of German explosives. He went to the French lines and secured explosives and bombs, and returned to the depot, where he dropped nine bombs, all of which hit. The successive explosions were so terrific that M. Pegoud had the greatest ' difficulty in keeping his balance, but he escaped uninjured. [M.
