YACHT RACES
The Te Ruru Yacht Club held a raceon Saturday for the cup which the winner is to hold for twelve months. The race was sailed in a moderate south-east wind, and the following were the handicaps and finishing times : W. Waddilove's Seabird (linin), finishing time, 5.20 p.m. ; P. Kiernan's Rawone (lmin), 5.26 p.m. ; H. Turner's Trixie (l£min), 5.32 p.m. ; C. Neal's Lizzie (scratch), 5,37 p.m. ; E. Hannan's Essex (7min), 5.43 p. m. Tho general handicap, which was postponed on Anniversary Day, will be sailed next Saturday.
