SYDNEY. 27th January At the -wool sales there is keen demand, and prices now are nearly equal to tho old standards ruling in normal times. Tho New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, has received tho following cablegram from, its London house under date 26th instant: — "Wool Sales — Tho market ie active. As compared with Decoinber, prices axe higher for greasy morino super 7i per cent., medium 10 per o»n.fc., faulty 15 per cent, scoured aoid greasy crossbred 5 to 10 per cent., scoured slipe and lambs par to 5 per cent.
