LETTER CARRIER COMMITTED FOR SENTENCE

(BT TBbEORAPH— PHEBS ASSOCIATION.) AUCKLAND, 27th January. A youth of 19, named Leslie M'Kenzie, employeo! as a letter-carrier, came before Mr. E. C. Cutten, S.M., this morning on charges of having stolen, in October last, a letter containing a 10s postal note, and in November another letter containing postal notes for 14s. M'Kenzio entered a plea of guilty, and was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence.
