♦ ■ In Wellington the temperature i» ap« proaching tho sultry stage, relieved eomewhat by a reasonable northerly breeze. On tho west coast of the South Island rain fell in the night, and in the Boiithef n, districts generally there was rain, but the general experience of tho Dominion has been fine nnd very warm . weather. Genorally the prospects are favourable.
