PRICE OF SUGAR
A SUGGESTED INCREASE. MELBOURNE, 24th December. A deputation of representatives of tho Queensland sugar districts has requested the Price of Goods Board lo increase the price of sugar lo £23 a" lon. Evidence was given that there were 20,000 tons of sugar in Victoria in September, and there was no fear of shortage.
