AUSTRALASIAN TROOPS
ROUTE MARCH THROUGH CAIRO THE MEN IN SPLENDrD CONDITION CAIRO, 24th December. The Australian and New Zealand troops made a route march through Cairo, and showed themselves in splen ' did condition. They had an enthxisias tic welcome from the crowds. The Commander-in-Chief in Egypt. General Sir I. Grenfell Maxwell, took the salute. The Egyptian Red Cres cent was presented by General Maxwell to the hospital train.
