DRUIDS AT PLAY
The- annual cricket match between the Wellington and Christchurch Druids was commenced at Newtown Park this morning. The following is the personnel of the teams : — Wellington — Nelson (captain), Pickering, Sclater, M'Kay, Hall, Christophereon, Byers, M'Cann, Little, Cresswell, and Warren. Chrietchurch — •And Tews (captain), Rix, Spicer, Kenworthy, Britten, Steinman, Cotton, Gyde, Graham, Sales, and Snook. Wellington won, the toss and decided to bat, but were all soon disposed of for 75 runs, the following being the scores : — WELLINGTON.— First Innings.
