EMPLOYERS AND ARBITRATION COURT

At a. meeting of the District Board of the New Zealand Employers' Federation, held in Wellington to-day a communication was received from Mr. Wm- Scott, that ho had definitely decided to retire from tho position of employers' representative on the Arbitration Court as from 31st January next. It wae resolved that a meeting of all tho executives of the federation, consisting of delegates from affiliated bodies throughout the Dominion be held on 7th January next, and at that meeting it will L>o deoided who shall be recommended to industrial unions of employers as their nominee or nominees for tho position to be vacated by Mr. Scott.
