—^ Advantage was taken of yesterday being a bank holiday to play a competition at Heretaunga between teams representing the Banks and the Wellington Golf Club. The Bank team consisted of Messrs. Liddle, Scott, Green, M'Lein, Stewart, Michie, Thompson, Duthie, Johnston, Callender, TulJy, and Yaldwin. The Wellington Gk>f Club was represented by Messrs. M'Shane, Kirkby, Triggs. Weston. Young, Barr, Griffiths, Blundell, Reakes, Kennedy, Morton, and Biss. The competitions in the morning and afternoon were both won by the Wellington Golf Club. During the day the teams were entertained at lunch by Messrs. Callender and Duthie.
