MARANUI SURF CLUB

The annual meeting of the Maranui Surf Club, held at Lyall Bay last night, was well attended. Mr. Thomas Ronayne, vice-president, was in the chair. Tho report and balance-sheet jvcre adopted. Tbo Chairman, in responding to a vota of thanks, congratulated the club on keeping the beaches safe for children and others^ and expressed the opinion that the City Council should subsidise tho club.
