CITY ABATTOIR

MONTHLY REPORT. During the month of September the following stock was slaughtered at the City Abattoir :— Cows 106, bullocks 516. bulls 8, sheep 4776, lambs 140, calves 18, pigs 25. Eighteen bullocks, 17 sheep, 1 calf, and 1 pig were condemned. The fees received were : - Stock slaughtered £140 19s 4d. fees from Meat Export Company £113 5s 2d, sale df offal and runners £129 12s 3d. cleaning tripe £37 18s 3d, total £421 15s, being £41 Us Ojd decrease on the previous month, and £62 5s 4d decrease as compared with the tanib month of last year.
