LABOUR DAY
At. the Trades Hall last evening a meeting 1 of the Labour Day tJorrnnitteewas heid. The secretary (Mr. L. M. A. Rearden) reported that arrangements for the demonstration were progressing very satisfactorily. As a "finale" to the celebrations a social is to be held in th© Petone Drill Hall in the evening, under the auspices of tho Social Democratic Party. The funds are to be handed over to the local distress fund.
