LADIES' FINAL BEING PLAYED (IT TBLEORAPH— MIBSS ASSOCIATION.) DUNEDIN, This Day. The final of the ladies', golf championship between Mrs. Williams (Masterton) and Miss Bell (Wellington) was begun this morning, when the first round of eighteen holes was played. Mrs. Williams continued to show fine form and finished five up. The second round will be played this afternoon. PROFESSIONALS' MATCH AUCKLAND, This Day. Conclusion of the first round of the professional championship : Clements beat Blair, 5 up and 4 to play;' Isles beat Watt, 2 up ; M'Ewan beat Hood, 2 and 1; M'Cormick beat Hood, 1 up; Forrest, Douglas, Bell, and Stewart' had byes.
