ELOCUTIONARY RECITAL

An excellent entertainment will be provided on Monday evening, when Mr. J. Culford Bell and Miss Betty Purdom, with their pupils, will give an elocutionary recital in aid of the Huntly Mine Disaster Fund. A feature of tho programme will be a number of sketches of a unique character, all of which will be given in character. New recitations and a very bright comedy sketch will be included in the entertainment. The recital is under the patronage of Their Excellencies , the Governor and the Countess of Liverpool, the Premier, Sir Joseph Ward, and the Mayor. The Tramway, Band will play a programme of mueio at the Baeia Reserve this evening.
