SHARP EARTH TREMOR

Just after the clock struck one to-day a sharp earthquake shock was felt in the city. Windows rattled, doors slammed, and buildings were briskly shaken. The direction appeared to be from south to' north. Another slighter shock occurred twenty minutes later. As stated in another part of this issue there was an earthquake shock a little after midnight last night.
