DOMINION DAY
—_ It is not likely that Dominion Day (next Monday) will be widely celebrated in Wellington. The public schools will close, and head-teachers .and school committees have been circularised by the Education Board, and asked to see that the occasion is fittingly celebrated. Government offices will close, also the banks; but many other business places will probably declare a holiday to-morrow — when the Expeditionary Force will be farewelled—in preference to next Monday. The Ti-amway& Band will play a programme of music at Newtown Park on Sunday afternoon, and will take up » collection in uid of the Huntly Relief Fund. i
