Mails for Norfolk, New Hebrides, Banks, Torres, Santa Cruz, and Solomon Islands close at Auckland on Friday, 25th September, at 9.4 a <U2.

Mails for Fiji close at Auckland on Saturday, 26th September, at 2.45 p.m. As the last clearance of the City receivers is made at 0 p.m. on Saturdays, all correspondence for the Sunday night Auckland express must be posted at the Chief Post Office not litter than 8 p.m. on Sunday. , The Parcel Mail per Main Trunk Kxpnesß /closes at the C.P.O. at 10 30 ajn., and for the South per Ferry Steamer at 6 p.m. Parcels for despatch by steamers and trains, with the exception of the usual Ferry st-eameis for Southern Offices* close at the Chief Post Office, Wellington, one hour before the advertised times of closing of mails. The public are earnestly requested to reßister all letters containing money or valuables intended to be sent by post.
