(fit TELEGRAPH.— PRKSS ASSOCIATION.) AUCKLAND, This Day. Tho Pacifio Cable Board's steamer Irir arrived this morning, bringing three officers from Norfolk Island, being the, usual staff exchanges.
At a special meeting of the Hutt County Council to-day a resolution, by way of special order declaring the following county roads, main roads was confirmed: — The great Western-road for its ■whole length from Paremata to Waithe great Eastern-road for its -whole length from Taita to Rimotaka, -exclusive of that portion in the Town District of Upper Hutt ; the Lowry BayDay's Bay-roaa between Lower Hutt and Eastbourne. The rates for the current year, totalling Id in the fll, were also confirmed.
