AUCKLAND, This Day. - Further representations are being | made to the Government and shipping companies by the New Zealand Dairy Association regarding the urgent necessity for adequate shipping facilities for this season's produce. Mr. Pacey, general manager of the association, declares that an alarming position threatens the butter meat, and cheeee industries. UnleßS effective action is taken immediately, there will certainly be trouble dm- 1 ing the summer months, when the pro* duction is at its maximum. ' Steamers in Australasia will be altogether inadequate for frozen cargo which will bo offering, and the only means of relieving the pressure will be by charter in Great Britain or other important shipping centres.
