BIG GUN SHOOTING
FIRING AT FORT DORSET, No. 3 Company Garrison Artillery Division engaged in big- gun firing last evening at two Hongkong targets towed by the Defence steamer Janie Seddon. , ' The targets were towed out beyond the Heads shortly after " seven o'clock and ! were quickly picked up by the searchlights. Altogether two series of ten rounds each were fired from the 6in mark Vll.'s and some excellent results were accomplished, no less than 19 hits being registered out of the 20 rounds fired, while the remaining shot fell short by a very little distance. Captain A. 33. Brown commanded the company.
