During the month of August, the Talisman Coi>»o!idated crushed and treated 4280 ton. of ore for- n yield of bullion valued at £21,530 5s 2d. Tho costs for pa«t month totalled 45s 4d, made up ns follow:—Mino development, 13s lOd ; mining, 15s 8d ; milling, 13s 9d { general, 2s Id. The following telegram has been roceived from the mine- superintendent at Ross:— "260z 18dwfc of gold from 602 trucks."
