PATRIOTIC MATINEE
To-morrow afternoon the patriotic matinee organised by Messrs. J. and If. Tait in aid of the War Fund will be held in tho Grand Opera House. The programme provided will be of outstanding merit and the entertainment should result in a substantial increase in funds, as the whole of the proceeds will be handed ovei. Mr. Harry Lauder, who has so endeared himself to Wellington theatregoers, and liis clever party of artists,- will contribute items, and the ladies of the Little Theatre Company will sell souvenirs of Mr. Lauder as well as flowers and sweets. 'Several prominent citizens have announced their 'intention of being present and a record "house" is hoped for.
