Scott Robertson (Liberal M.P. for Cen- ' tral Bradford) read Lord Hardinge'n (Viceroy of India) intensely interesting account of how the princes and peoplo had offered their services. Tho House was deeply moved, and cheered. All the seven hundred Indian rulers had offered their services and resources. Besides men and money some were equipping a hospital ship, and others were providing a thousand horses. As showing the extent of the offers, I the Dalai Lama of Tibet had offered a thousand Tibetans. Mr. Asquith announced that Lord Hardinge's message would be circulated throughout the world. Mr. Will Thorne : Send a copy to the Kaiser.
