BOROUGH COUNCIL MEETING. The Karori Borough Council mot last evening, when there were present : The Mayor (Mr. W. T. Hildreth), arid Councillors B. G. H. Bum, W. G. Brad« nock, A. Hamilton, P. C. Jordan, C. Cimino, and W. Skegg. -Accounts passed for payment totalled' £129 5s 3d. The tenant of the Karori tea-rooms wrote, asking for a reduction of the amount of her reht, owing to the early closing of tho hockey season. The mat* ter was referred to the Works Commit' tee for favourable consideration and report.
